Practical information

When you make a provisional booking, you will receive three documents by e-mail. You must read them carefully, sign them after writing « lu et approuvé » (read and approved) and return them to the landlord (see address on the contract). You will be sent a copy by snail mail.

Terms and conditions are part of the contract. Their purpose is to protect the owner but also the tenant.

Further explanation :

The damage deposit (500 €) is held for the period of your stay and returned on departure. If any damage is noticed during the inventory of fixtures on departure day, you will be asked to pay only for the amount of repair.

Regarding water and electricity, the upper limit fixed in the terms and conditions is never met, unless tenants are 4 or 5 when they are supposed to be 2! The goal of such a limit is to be protected against this kind of abuse. Of course, if a consumption slightly exceeding the fixed limit is noticed, it won’t be billed.

Should a window be broken, the tenant’s insurance is supposed to cover such an accident. The excess would only apply to tenants without such an insurance. On the other hand, the owner wouldn’t ask for more, which also protects the tenant.
